Overview

A fire protection piping system refers to a set of fire equipment in or around a building that is responsible for transporting fire extinguishing media such as water, foam, and dry powder to the fire extinguishing site or around the fire, which is to isolate, evacuate, control the fire. The fire piping system plays a very important role because it is directly related to the safety of people's lives and property.

Fire protection piping systems are divided into internal fire protection system and external fire protection system as per the uses.

The internal fire protection system refers to the pipeline system set up inside the building for direct supply of fire water, generally including indoor fire hydrant system, sprinkler system, smoke prevention and exhaust system, dry powder fire extinguishing system, foam fire extinguishing system, etc.

The external fire protection system generally refers to the pipeline system that transports fire water to the surroundings of the building, mainly including fire pools, fire pump rooms, fire water tanks, water source adapters, fire hoses, outdoor fire hydrants, etc.

Dry Sprinkler System

Dry Sprinkler System

A dry sprinkler system refers to a closed system in which, under working conditions, the water distribution pipes are filled with pressurized air used to activate the system.

Dry sprinkler system is developed to meet the needs of installing automatic sprinkler systems in cold and high temperature places. It's anti-freezing and anti-high ambient temperature.

When a fire occurs, the sprinkler head first sprays out air, ddecrease the pressure in the pipe network. The pressurized wate activates the signal valve and enters the water distribution pipe network, and then sprays out from the sprinkler head to extinguish the fire.

Wet Sprinkler System

Wet Sprinkler System

A wet sprinkler system refers to a closed system in which, under working conditions, the water distribution pipes are filled with pressurized water used to start the system.

Since the pipes before and after the alarm valve are always filled with pressurized water, the wet system is limited by the ambient temperature.

When a fire occurs, temperature of the building keeps rising. When the temperature is risen to the point where the temperature-sensing element of the closed sprinkler head explodes or melts and falls off, the sprinkler head automatically sprays water to extinguish the fire.

Pre-action Sprinkler System

Pre-action Sprinkler System

Pre-action sprinkler system means that the pipeline is not filled with water at ordinary times, and the automatic fire alarm system automatically opens the deluge valve and converts it into a wet system. The automatic fire detection and alarm technology and the automatic sprinkler system are organically combined to provide dual protection for the protected objects.

It is suitable for buildings that freeze in winter and cannot be heated. It is also suitable for high-end hotels, important office buildings, large shopping malls and other buildings where losses caused by accidental spraying are not allowed.

Indoor Fire Hydrant System

Indoor Fire Hydrant System

The indoor fire hydrant system is the most common fire water supply facility inside a building. Its task is to spray water with a certain pressure in the indoor fire hydrant pipe network through fire hydrants, hoses, and water guns into the fire scene when a fire occurs, so that the general burning substances Cool down and put out the fire.

Outdoor fire hydrants system

Outdoor fire hydrants system

The outdoor fire hydrants system are water supply facilities installed on the fire water supply network outside the building. They are mainly used for fire trucks to draw water from the municipal water supply network or outdoor fire water supply network to put out fires. They can also be directly connected to water hoses and water guns to extinguish fires. They are the best way to put out fires. One of the important fire protection facilities.
